- Staff week is in June and the training packet is the one from 2019 with the dates changed.Your staff kit, rebuilt from your own material, with a session plan another trainer can run and a way to tell whether a counselor can do the thing alone.
- A parent asks whether the incident note was written by a person.You leave with the rule on what AI may and may not touch, the disclosure sentence, and a checklist of what stays in CampMinder, CampBrain or wherever your records live.
As of September 2026 we could not find a course on AI for camps anywhere in North America: not in the ACA's learning center or conference programs, not on the Foundation for Jewish Camp's 2026-27 calendar, not from the software vendors.
The four-hour course is $600 a seat. It is with the state of Massachusetts for approval; whether a camp qualifies for reimbursement is a question we answer with you first (how that works). Camps elsewhere pay from the staff-training line they already have.
